Understand The Path.
Not The Person.
I want to learn which pages help people find useful evidence and start a conversation. You do not have to enable measurement to read, browse, download the brief, or contact me.
Your Measurement Choice.
Optional measurement starts off. You can allow anonymous aggregate counts to help me understand which public pages lead to contact actions. No visitor IDs, advertising cookies, session recordings, or message contents are collected by this feature.
Off. The website and all contact options still work.
What Optional Measurement Counts.
Only after you allow it, this site counts views of known public pages, adjacent page transitions, email-link clicks, successful email-address copies, executive-brief download clicks, LinkedIn openings, and broad loading or layout-stability categories. Daily counters can include the first page observed after allowance, the preceding page, the current page, and a general, client, or hiring label.
The short path context lives only in memory in the current page session. It resets on a full reload or when measurement is turned off. There is no visitor or session identifier, so these counts are events, not unique people or a complete browsing history.
What This Feature Does Not Collect.
No email address, message body, form contents, IP address, account identity, exact event timestamp, location, advertising identifier, fingerprint, external referrer, query string, URL fragment, keystroke, or session recording is stored in the measurement database. Unrecognized routes, including unpublished writing, are rejected. There are no third-party analytics scripts.
Hosting and network providers necessarily process connection information to deliver and protect this website. Their infrastructure or security logs are separate from these aggregate counters; this notice does not promise that providers never process IP addresses or other request information.
Your Choice And Browser Signals.
Measurement is off by default. If you choose allow or off, a single local device preference remembers that choice. It is not an identifier and is not sent as a cookie. If that preference cannot be read or saved, optional measurement remains off. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals turn this feature off even after an earlier allowance. You can withdraw allowance here at any time; turning it off also clears the in-memory path context.
Because counters are not linked to a person, I cannot identify or remove an individual contribution from an aggregate. With JavaScript disabled, optional measurement does not run and email links remain available.
A Click Is Not a Conversation.
An email click does not establish that a message was sent, received, qualified, or turned into work. A copy or download does not establish a hiring conversation. These are separate intent signals and must not be added together as a count of leads.
If measurement is allowed, an email draft can include an optional reference listing the public pages in the observed path. It is the same reference for anyone following that path, not a personal tracking code. You can remove it before sending. The website does not receive the email; it opens your own email app. Replies and message contents remain in the email conversation, outside the measurement database.
Private Aggregates And Retention.
The first-party counters are stored in a Sites-hosted Cloudflare D1 database. There is no public analytics dashboard or public read endpoint. Reports are reviewed through the authenticated site-management tools.
The reporting window is 90 days. Older counter rows are pruned on the next accepted measurement request; an inactive site may retain older aggregates until collection resumes or an owner removes them. Hosting-provider backups and security-log retention follow the provider's controls, not this application cleanup. Introductory emails are separate correspondence and are not governed by this counter-retention window.
How Evidence Will Be Used.
I will compare page and path counts with contact-intent signals, then confirm actual conversations separately from received correspondence when the sender has kept a useful reference. Low counts, blocked scripts, opt-in selection, reloads, bots, and missed context limit what the evidence can establish. A single click or a small sample is not a reason to claim a conversion improvement.
Changes should address a specific friction point, preserve working paths, and be evaluated over comparable periods. No new measurement or correspondence access is implied by this notice.

Linked websites, products, and email services have their own privacy practices; this notice describes this portfolio's optional measurement, not every VerShep or third-party product.
